When it comes to tattoos, pretty much anything is possible in terms of design. If you want a tattoo that stands out and makes a statement, a large, intricate design is the way to go. Unlike smaller, minimalist tattoos, big tattoos offer more room (literally!) for detail and creativity. They can be true works of art, as you’ll see in the examples below. You can combine them with other tattoos, of all sizes, or let them stand on their own to maximize visibility and impact and avoid a cluttered look.
If you’re new to the world of ink, you’ll probably want to start out with one awesome design and build up your collection from there.
